BANGKOK - HANOI - HALONG BAY - DANANG - HOI AN - HUE - HO CHI MINH - BANGKOK

 

DEPARTURE ( Ex-Bangkok ) :  Daily on request

 

Day 1 :  Bangkok - Hanoi (D)

Fly from Bangkok to Hanoi.  Arrive at Hanoi International airport,  meet & transfer to your hotel;.  This evening, we see the performance of the Water Puppet show at Thang Long Theatre.  Dinner at restaurant.  O/N in Hanoi.

Day 2 :   Hanoi - Halong  (B+L+D)

Breakfast at hotel.  Heading out of town, we travel by roads to Halong Bay, truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive sites.  We embark on a sailing junk to explore the picturesque  scenery blending the sky with some 3,000 limestone islands, rising amazingly from the clear Emerald water and littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves.  A fantastic cruise to visit Sung Sot Cave, Tuan Chau Island, Dinh Huong Island, Gachoi Island, Dog Island, Sail Island and a swim at Titov Beach. Lunch & dinner served on board with Vietnamese wine.  O/N on board the Houng Hai Junk.

Day 3 :  Halong - Hanoi  (B+L)

Breakfast on board.  Continue the cruise to discover more of Halong Bay.  Visit Man’s Head Island, Tiortoise Island, Luon Cave, Bai Tu Long Bay, Toad Island and Baitho Mountain.  Lunc on board.  Afternoon, drive back to Hanoi.  Dinner at restaurant.  O/N in Hanoi.

Day 4 :  Hanoi - Danang - Hoi An  (B+L)

Breakfast at hotel.. City tour of Hanoi—visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his residence, One-Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature.  After lunch at restaurant, transfer to the airport, fly Hanoi / Danang.  On arrival, transfer to the ancient town of Hoi An. Once a thriving  international trading port with large Chinese and Japanese population. O/N in Hoi An.

Day 5 :  Hoi An - Hue  (B+L)

Breakfast at hotel.  Depart via Hai Van Pass for Hue.  Visit the Citadel - Vietnam’s former capital and recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site and Khai Dinh Tomb.  Lunch at a restaurant.  Afternoon  cruise along the Perfume River,  We visit the tombs of the former Nguyen Emperors and the Tien  Mu Pagoda, an active Buddhist monastery dating back to 1601.  O/N in Hue.

Day 6 :  Hue -  Ho Chi Minh  (B+L)

Breakfast at hotel.  Transfer to the airport, fly to Ho Chin Minh.  Transfer on arrival to your hotel.  After lunch at restaurant, a short visit to the Notre Dame Cathdral, Centre Post Office, City Hall, China Town, then do some shopping at the Binh Tay Market.    O/N in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 7 :  Ho Chi Minh  (B+L)

Breakfast at hotel.  Excursion to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels—a network of tunnels stretching over 200 kms.  Lunch at restaurant.  Afternoon visit to the War Museum, Reunificatiion Palace and Ben Thanh Market.  O/N in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 8 :  Ho Chi Minh - Bangkok  (B)

Breakfast at hotel.  Free until transfer time to the airport and fly back to Bangkok.
